Played by Ceara Coveney
Ceara first took to the stage at 4 years old and has loved to entertain ever since! Her early interest in musical theatre led to her playing Grizabella in her stage school’s production of Cats as well as performing in showcase productions at the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon and Her Majesty’s and Sadlers Wells Theatres in London.
Ceara’s first classical acting role was as Antigone with the Cirencester Youth Theatre. Following this she moved away from musical theatre and she will soon begin her third year as a student on the BA(Hons) Acting at the University of Northampton.
It was on this course that Ceara discovered her love of Shakespeare. She recently received excellent reviews for her performance of Queen Isabel in a steampunk themed production of Richard II in the medieval courtyard of Delapre Abbey.
This is Ceara’s first production with Gatecrash Theatre. “I’m so excited to get stuck into the role of Helena and Gatecrash seems like such a brilliant company to have some fun exploring this comedy with.”
