Assistant Director Patrick Thomas, getting his first mentored opportunity to direct

Open to Gatecrash Evolve members alone. This project is an opportunity for members to implement the skills they have learnt and developed in their own performance. The company will direct, design, perform and even potentially write their own piece for performance. Directors, designers and performers will receive support from a professional throughout the performance project’s development. Rehearsals will be outside of weekly workshops at evenings and weekends, as agreed within the company. Our next SAG project is ‘Constellations’ by Nick Payne and is being performed at Swindon Arts Centre on March 3rd to 5th 2017.

Wroughton Passion Play 2016

Beyond our core performance projects (listed above) we are often approached for other performance projects. Earlier in 2016 Gatecrash were commissioned to produce a large scale Passion Play in the village of Wroughton. This hugely successful project (with an audience just short of 2000 people) has led to a further commission to produce a family Nativity for the same village. These kinds of projects tend to be one off but mean that we are able to offer further performances to our members and followers over the year.
